PESHAWAR: Governor of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Faisal Karim Kundi, visited the Combined Military Hospital (CMH) Peshawar today to inquire after the health of District Police Officer (DPO) Hangu, Khalid Khan, and Lieutenant Colonel Khalid of the Tall Scouts, who sustained injuries during a successful counter-terrorism operation in Hangu against the extremists of Fitna-ul-Hindustan.
During his visit, the Governor commended the unwavering bravery and commitment of the injured officers, stating:
“The nation is proud of brave sons like you. Your courage and sacrifice are the backbone of our fight against terrorism.”
The hospital administration briefed the Governor on the medical condition and ongoing treatment of the officers. Governor Kundi expressed full support from the provincial government and extended prayers for their swift recovery.

He also lauded the security forces and law enforcement agencies for their effective action against the menace of terrorism, reaffirming the government’s resolve to stand firm against all threats to national security.
