Young Players Trained; Equipment & Certificates Distributed

PESHAWAR : A successful lacrosse training clinic was organized in Ayun Valley, Chitral, under the banner of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Lacrosse Association, aimed at promoting the sport in remote areas of the province.
The clinic saw the participation of 30 young male players, who received hands-on training in basic skills and drills of lacrosse.
The event was held on the instructions of Syed Salar Jahan, President of the KP Lacrosse Association, and was jointly arranged with the Chitral Lacrosse Association.
Distinguished guests at the event included Teyfur Zarin, Secretary of the Pakistan Lacrosse Federation, Hasnain Khan, and Nawabzada, Secretary of the Chitral Lacrosse Association.
As part of the clinic, all participants received free lacrosse sticks, certificates of participation, and souvenirs, encouraging their involvement and commitment to the sport.
This initiative reflects the KP Lacrosse Association’s ongoing grassroots development efforts, making lacrosse accessible in remote and mountainous regions and engaging youth in positive and healthy activities.
“This is more than a game it’s a movement to empower youth and foster community through sports,” said a spokesperson for the organizers.
