Bajaur: Four people were injured when a mortar shell struck the house of a man named Saif-ul-Malook in Gohati, a locality of Tehsil Mamond. The injured have been identified as Gul Wali and Gulab Gul, sons of Saaz Malook; Suleman, son of Gul Khan; and Syeda Jan, son of Muhammad Haleem. All the injured were immediately shifted to Category-D Hospital Larkhlozo, Mamond, where the condition of Gul Wali is reported to be critical.
It is worth mentioning that a partial relaxation in the curfew had been announced since yesterday. During the ongoing security operation, three people have so far been killed and sixteen injured.
Following the incident, local residents staged a protest march towards Laghari Bazaar, where they demonstrated for several hours, strongly condemning the attack.
