KOHAT:
Deputy Commissioner Kohat Abdul Akram has under the Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s Program “Awami Agenda”, held a follow-up open court which beside the officers of the district administration, police and line departments, was also attended by the special persons in large numbers.
The participants identified issues related to NADRA, Ehsaas Program, Benazir Income Support Program, quota in government jobs, wheelchairs, transport and other sectors and demanded its early resolution. He while informing about the performance of the previous court, said that most of the issues presented in it have been resolved, which he mentioned one by one.
Abdul Akram said that special persons deserve our special attention and will ensure the protection of all their rights. On this occasion, he said that new recruitment has been made for the capacity building and better training and care of mentally weak children. Similarly, 3 beds for special persons in DHQ Hospital Kohat has been reserved while the status of the school for special persons has also been upgraded, he concluded
