Two High-Impact Operations, Two Arrests, Major Drug Seizures

ISLAMABAD: The Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) has intensified its operations against drug traffickers, successfully executing two targeted raids in different regions of the country. As a result, two suspects were apprehended and 16.400 kilograms of narcotics were seized, with an estimated street value exceeding PKR 1.23 million.
Karachi Sweep – 14.4 Kgs Hashish Seized
Acting on intelligence, ANF Karachi conducted a swift operation in the Maripur area. The team intercepted a suspect in possession of 14.400 kgs of high-grade Hashish intended for distribution in the city. The accused was taken into custody on the spot.
Multan Interception 2 Kgs Hashish Recovered
In a separate operation, ANF Multan intercepted a vehicle near Sher Shah Toll Plaza. A search led to the recovery of 2 kgs of Hashish from an individual attempting to transport the narcotics.
Both suspects are now facing legal action under the Control of Narcotic Substances (CNS) Act.
The ANF reiterates its unwavering commitment to dismantling drug supply networks and safeguarding communities from the harmful effects of narcotics.
