ABBOTTABAD: The Inter-Clubs Gymnastics Championship concluded successfully in Abbottabad, with Fitness Pro Gymnastics Club Nawan Shahr Abbottabad clinching the first position, while The Rez Gymnastics Academy secured second place.
The event, held under the auspices of the Hazara Region Gymnastics Association, witnessed participation from numerous gymnastics clubs that delivered outstanding performances in the “City of Poplars.”
Chief guest DSP Mansehra Nazir Khan, along with Secretary of the Provincial Gymnastics Association Muhammad Raja, awarded medals, trophies, and certificates to the top-performing athletes. Hazara Division Gymnastics Association President Sardar Muhammad Rizwan and Secretary Shaukat Hussain were also present at the ceremony.
In his address, DSP Nazir Khan praised the association’s efforts, stating, “It is always a pleasure to see children actively participating in sports, and events like this play a vital role in their physical and mental growth.”
Secretary Muhammad Raja reaffirmed the provincial association’s commitment to the promotion of gymnastics across the province. “We are making every effort to create opportunities and platforms for young athletes to excel in this sport,” he added.
