PESHAWAR: All Pakistan Wapda Hydro Electric Workers Union Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chairman Haji Muhammad led by Provincial Secretary Noorul Amin Haiderzai, Vice Chairman Yasir Kamran and Deputy Chairman Shafiullah met Public Accounts Committee Chairman Junaid Akbar in Islamabad to discuss the problems faced by the workers in the three electricity distribution companies of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, especially the increasing number of fatal electrical accidents in discos. Staff shortage. Not outsourcing assistant linemen and linemen. Detailed discussions were held regarding regularization of DISCOS employees and immediate recruitment in DISCOS to prevent accidents.
