Dera Ismail Khan: Regional Police Officer (RPO) Dera, Syed Ashfaq Anwar, conducted a surprise inspection of the Police Facilitation Center, Driving License Branch, Rescue-15, and City Police Station in Topanwala district of Dera amid heightened security concerns.
During his visit, the RPO reviewed the facilities available to the public at the Police Facilitation Center and Driving License Branch. He interacted with pedestrians, listened to their grievances, and directed the in-charges of both units to further improve public services.
The inspection also included Rescue-15 and the City Police Station, where RPO Anwar examined the infrastructure, handovers, and barracks of police personnel. He reviewed the existing security arrangements through installed CCTV cameras and emphasized the need for stricter measures.
On this occasion, RPO Dera instructed the police personnel to maintain strict surveillance on the city’s entry and exit routes, intensify crackdowns against criminal elements through special roadblocks, and adopt all possible measures to strengthen security. He further stressed that ensuring prompt redressal of public complaints and treating citizens with respect and dignity remain the foremost responsibilities of the police.
