Vice Chancellor Women University Swabi, Prof. Dr. Ghazala Yasmin
On the occasion of Youm-e-Takbeer, the Vice Chancellor of Women University Swabi, Professor Dr. Ghazala Yasmin, stated that Pakistan becoming a nuclear power on May 28, 1998, was a great blessing from Allah Almighty. This day is not only a symbol of our national dignity but also represents our sovereignty and defense capabilities.
She emphasized that becoming the first nuclear power in the Islamic world is no small achievement. It was a historic moment when the entire world acknowledged Pakistan’s capabilities, determination, and national unity. Today, the respect and recognition Pakistan holds globally are rooted in the events of that very day.
Professor Dr. Ghazala Yasmin further said that we must understand the true spirit of this day and educate our youth about the historical significance of this monumental achievement. May Allah grant us the strength to safeguard our country and guide it toward progress and stability.
She urged the students and faculty members to contribute their full potential in the fields of national defense, self-reliance, and education so that Pakistan emerges as a strong, developed, and peaceful nation.
