Staff Report
Peshawar:Frontier Foundation Chairman Sahibzada Muhammad Haleem and Thalassemia Patients Welfare Society have condemned the threat of re-sealing the Frontier Foundation Hospital by EOBI, saying that EOBI has not only registered Frontier Foundation but also compiled a self-made list of employees, under which the institution is taking the position that Rs. 13 lakh is owed in terms of payments to employees who have been with it since 2009. Sahibzada Muhammad Haleem says that most of us are working voluntarily, while the number of permanent employees is 6 to 8. He also said that the seal has been lifted by the court in the past few days, however, EOBI officials are repeatedly saying that if the said amount is not paid by May 31, the hospital will be sealed again. Sahibzada Muhammad Haleem says that if the hospital is re-sealed, we will set up a protest camp in front of the EOBI regional office and provide medical facilities to the children undergoing treatment there. Blood camps will also be organized, and if any child is harmed or dies due to the unavailability of other medical facilities including blood transfusions, then the responsibility will lie with the EOBI administration and an FIR will also be filed against EOBI.
