ISLAMABAD: Recently promoted to Grade 21and senior officer of the Information Group, Ashfaq Ahmad Khalil, has been appointed as Additional Secretary, Ministry of Information and Broadcasting. The Establishment Division has also issued a notification in this regard.
He was earlier serving as Joint Secretary in the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting. It is to be recalled that he has served on many important positions in the ministry. He had served as Regional General Manager, PEMRA Peshawar, Director General PR, PID Peshawar, Press Counselor Tokyo Japan and Director, External Publicity Wing.
