PESHAWAR: Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Faisal Karim Kundi has strongly condemned the recent statements made against Pakistan’s armed forces, emphasizing that our brave soldiers sacrifice their lives to protect the province and the nation.
Governor Kundi stated that “Questioning the intentions of the army harms morale and public security.” He further said that “Intelligence-based operations are being conducted solely for the protection of the people and the restoration of peace.”
Calling for responsibility and restraint, the Governor urged Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Sohail Afridi to maintain national unity and avoid statements that could create division or weaken confidence in state institutions.
Governor Faisal Karim Kundi stressed, “Politics should not be used as a means to weaken national security institutions. All political forces should stand with the armed forces for lasting peace.”
He added that “The real decision on accountability will be made by the people in the upcoming elections.”
Governor Kundi reaffirmed that the armed forces deserve the highest respect and support from all segments of society, as they continue to defend Pakistan’s sovereignty and security with courage and dedication.
