DERA ISMAIL KHAN: The funeral prayers of the brave police personnel who embraced martyrdom in the attack on a police armored vehicle in Dera Ismail Khan were offered today.

The funeral ceremony was attended by former Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Ali Amin Gandapur, Regional Police Officer Syed Ashfaq Anwar, Deputy Commissioner Abdul Nasser Khan, Additional Deputy Commissioner Adnan Jamil, District Police Officer Sajjad Ahmed Sahibzada, senior police officers, local dignitaries, and a large number of citizens.

Speaking on the occasion, former Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur condemned the cowardly attack, stating that the nation will never forget the sacrifices of its heroes. He added:
“We strongly condemn this brutal act. Our prayers are with the injured personnel for their speedy recovery, and we share the grief of the families of the martyrs.”

He reaffirmed the resolve to stand united against all forms of terrorism and to honour the sacrifices of the police force in safeguarding peace and security.
