Peshawar: Public and social circles have demanded the immediate reinstatement of former SP Elite Sajid Khan, stating that despite more than a year having passed, the continued delay in his reinstatement reflects administrative negligence and injustice.
Community elders, youth representatives, and civil society members said in their statements that Sajid Khan is known as a dedicated, honest, and highly capable police officer. According to them, it is incomprehensible that while several dismissed officers have already been reinstated, Sajid Khan’s case remains pending without justification.
They added that Sajid Khan maintained a strictly professional and non-political conduct throughout his service, playing a commendable role in anti-terrorism operations, the leadership of the Elite Force, and the handling of sensitive assignments.
Public representatives urged the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government, the Inspector General of Police, and relevant authorities to review the case afresh and reinstate a brave, competent, and upright officer without further delay.
