KOHAT: Kohat University of Science and Technology (KUST) observed Emergency Care Day with the aim of highlighting the importance of timely response, basic first aid, and awareness in emergency situations.
Vice Chancellor Professor Dr. Syed Zafar Ilyas emphasized the need for immediate and effective action during emergencies and stressed the importance of first aid training. Pro Vice Chancellor Professor Dr. Muhammad Naseeruddin noted that such initiatives not only provide practical knowledge but also cultivate a sense of social responsibility among students.
Chairman of the Department of Emergency Care Technology, Dr. Fawad Ali, stated that this day serves as a reminder that every individual can play a vital role in saving lives through timely action.
The event was organized under the supervision of Dr. Fanous Hayat, Lecturer and Event Manager, Department of Emergency Care Technology, who encouraged participants to remain alert, calm, and ready to assist at all times.
Faculty members, staff, and students from the Faculty of Emergency Care Technology actively participated in the event and expressed keen interest in training and raising awareness about managing emergency situations.
