Peshawar: On the joyous occasion of Christmas, the Population Welfare Department Peshawar organized a dignified ceremony in honor of the Christian community.

The event was led by District Population Welfare Officer Peshawar, Samiullah Khan Khalil, and was attended by all employees belonging to the Christian community from district Peshawar, who participated enthusiastically.

During the ceremony, District Population Welfare Officer Samiullah Khan Khalil, along with Hidayatullah Khan, Kashif Fida, Shahid Murad, Junaid Khokhar, and other employees, collectively cut the Christmas cake.

Addressing the gathering, Samiullah Khan Khalil extended heartfelt Christmas greetings to the Christian community and stated that the Christian community plays an important and valuable role in the development of the country and society, and their services are highly commendable.

He emphasized the promotion of interfaith harmony, tolerance, and mutual respect, and said that the Population Welfare Department believes in providing equal rights, dignity, and respect to all its employees without any discrimination.

The District Population Welfare Officer further added that such events play a vital role in promoting brotherhood, unity, and a positive working environment within institutions, which ultimately contributes to the formation of a strong, peaceful, and harmonious society.
