Quaid-e-Azam Gave Muslims the Hope of Freedom, Sovereignty, and a Separate Homeland

Peshawar: President of the Pakistan Hindkowans Movement, Muhammad Akbar Sethi, paid glowing tribute to Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah (RA), stating that while the entire Pakistani nation is celebrating the birth anniversary of the Founder of Pakistan with devotion, respect, and national spirit, the Hindkowan community is also saluting his historic struggle and leadership in the creation of Pakistan. He said that the birth of Quaid-e-Azam was a monumental moment in the history of the Subcontinent, which gave Muslims the hope of freedom, sovereignty, and an independent homeland.

Akbar Sethi said that Quaid-e-Azam devoted his entire life to the protection and promotion of the rights of Muslims of the Subcontinent. He made unimaginable sacrifices and endured political opposition and personal hardships, yet never retreated from his mission even for a moment. His principled politics, integrity, and constitutional struggle ultimately paved the way for the creation of Pakistan on August 14, 1947.

He said that Quaid-e-Azam envisioned a state where the rule of law would prevail, minorities would enjoy complete protection, justice would be equal for all, and every citizen would have religious, economic, and social freedom. He added that this vision remains a guiding light for Pakistan even today.

On the occasion of Youm-e-Quaid, political, social, and public circles reiterated their resolve to translate the thoughts and teachings of Quaid-e-Azam into practical action. Speaking on the occasion, Waqar Lodhi said that the nation is united in the belief that the path to Pakistan’s development, stability, and prosperity lies in following the golden principles of unity, faith, and discipline.

In conclusion, the speakers said that Youm-e-Quaid reminds the nation that Pakistan was achieved after immense sacrifices. They stressed the need to rise above personal interests, serve the country selflessly, uphold the rule of law, and play an active role in building a strong, sovereign, and prosperous Pakistan in accordance with the vision of Quaid-e-Azam.
