Despite her young age, talented junior squash player Wajeeha Ali has emerged as a new hope for the future of squash in Pakistan. Hailing from Nowshera district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, she is undergoing regular and disciplined training at the P.F. Jahangir Khan Squash Complex in Peshawar.
Through tireless hard work, exceptional dedication, and a deep passion for the sport, Wajeeha Ali has succeeded in drawing the attention of not only her coaches but also squash enthusiasts. She participates daily in intensive and well-structured training sessions focusing on physical fitness, skill development, speed, stamina, footwork, and match practice. The objective of these sessions is not only to polish her technical abilities but also to prepare her mentally to handle the pressure of competitive environments in major tournaments.
Renowned coach Riaz plays a significant and commendable role in her professional training. Along with teaching modern squash techniques, he also focuses on mental strength, discipline, sportsmanship, and the fundamental principles of the game.
