Islamabad:PPP accuses PML-N of rigging in Sambrial by-election
The Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) secretary general Humayun Khan has accused the ruling Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) of electoral rigging during the recently held by-election in Sambrial, Sialkot district.

In a statement issued on Sunday by the office of the secretary general of PPP, alleged that polling agents were harassed, results were manipulated, and voter intimidation tactics were used in several polling stations. The party has called for an immediate investigation by the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP).

“The people’s mandate has been stolen in broad daylight,” said Mr Humayun Khan. “The PML-N has turned the by-election into a mockery of democracy.
