Peshawar: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Throwball Team met with Advisor to Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on Sports and Youth Affairs Taj Muhammad Khan Tarand. On this occasion, the Sports Advisor congratulated the team for winning the silver medal by performing brilliantly in the 35th National Games Karachi and appreciated the hard work of the players.
Taj Muhammad Khan Tarand said that the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Throwball Team has brought glory to the province at the national level and the government will fully support the promotion of throwball at all levels and the players. He assured that the provincial government will give importance to throwball like other sports.
KP Throwball Association President Mian Khaliq-ur-Rehman and Secretary Arshad Hussain were also present on the occasion. The Sports Advisor also appreciated the efforts of the association officials and said that throwball can be further developed through a systematic strategy.
Sports Advisor Taj Muhammad Khan announced that a national-level throwball event will be held in Peshawar soon, which will further promote sports activities in the province and provide opportunities for young players to come forward.
