PESHAWAR: Youth Leadership of Pakistan, in collaboration with the Directorate of Youth Affairs, Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, successfully hosted the Youth for Global Peace & Tolerance Conference 2026 at the Directorate of Youth Affairs Office,Peshawar. The event brought together young leaders, human rights activists, journalists, and community representatives to promote peace, tolerance, and social harmony among the youth.
The conference commenced with a warm welcome by Mr. Junaid Sahar Afridi, President of Youth Leadership of Pakistan, who greeted all guests and shed light on the organization’s activities, initiatives, and its role in empowering youth to become responsible leaders and ambassadors of peace in the region.
The conference featured a distinguished lineup of speakers, including:
Natasha Suman – Advocate & Human Rights Activist
Khalid Khan – Journalist
Maulana Dr. Ameen ur Rehmani – Advocate & Member, United Ulema Board KPK
Hakeem Khan -Assistant Director
During her session, Natasha Suman engaged participants on critical issues such as human rights, social harmony, peace, and tolerance, concluding with the distribution of certificates to attendees on behalf of Youth Leadership of Pakistan and the Directorate of Youth Affairs, KPK.
Khalid Khan emphasized the role of media in promoting peace, tolerance, and responsible civic engagement.
Maulana Dr. Ameen ur Rehmani delivered a compelling address on peace and tolerance in the light of Islam. He highlighted that the Quran and Hadith Mubarak emphasize the importance of peace, compassion, and tolerance in every moment of life, and encouraged the youth to embody these values in their daily actions to foster social harmony and communal unity.
Mr.Hakeem Khan highlighted the significance of youth leadership in building a stronger, more inclusive society.
The conference successfully underscored the commitment of Youth Leadership of Pakistan and the Directorate of Youth Affairs to empower young leaders as ambassadors of peace and tolerance in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. All registered participants were awarded certificates recognizing their active participation.
