ISLAMABAD: The Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI) President Atif Ikram Sheikh hosted a grand Iftar dinner in honor of ambassadors and high commissioners from various countries. The event was attended by Senate Chairman Syed Yousaf Raza Gilani, Federal Minister Tariq Fazal Chaudhry,Bilal Azhar kiyani, and diplomats from Turkey, Oman, Italy, Germany, Ethiopia, Nepal, and other countries.

In his address, president FPCCI emphasized the importance of Ramadan, highlighting its values of discipline, sacrifice, and brotherhood. He paid tribute to security personnel who have made sacrifices in the fight against terrorism, stating that the business community stands united with state institutions on national security matters.

He noted that Pakistan is moving towards economic stability, with positive economic indicators and foreign exchange reserves exceeding $20 billion. He stressed the need for a joint strategy to promote economic stability and attract foreign investment, aiming to position Pakistan among developed nations.

Prominent business leaders, also attended the event, which provided a platform for fostering diplomatic and business relations.
