Karachi: A key meeting to review security arrangements for Youm-e-Ali was held at the Karachi Police Office, chaired by Azad Khan, Karachi Police Chief.
During the meeting, a comprehensive assessment was carried out regarding security measures, traffic management plans and administrative preparations. Religious scholars and organizers appreciated the police’s previous efforts and presented their recommendations to further enhance arrangements.
AIG Karachi directed officers to maintain close coordination with the civil administration to ensure foolproof security and effective protection of religious scholars and participants throughout the observances.
In addition, detailed discussions were held on security-related matters concerning the main procession and associated gatherings, particularly in light of prevailing national challenges. Officers were instructed to ensure strong coordination among all stakeholders and implement robust safetyc protocols.
Strict security measures will be enforced for the central procession to prevent any untoward incident. The meeting concluded with a collective commitment to full cooperation and prayers for the country’s peace and stability.
