PESHAWAR : Blood transfusion services were provided today to registered patients suffering from Thalassemia Major at the Hamza Foundation in Peshawar during the holy month of Ramadan Mubarak.
The initiative aimed to ensure uninterrupted medical care for patients who require regular blood transfusions for survival. Medical staff and volunteers actively participated in the process, facilitating the patients and their families.
The administration of Hamza Foundation emphasized that Thalassemia patients depend on timely blood transfusions and appealed to the public, especially during Ramadan, to come forward and donate blood as an act of compassion and humanitarian service.
They further stated that continued community support is essential to help save the lives of children and other patients suffering from this genetic blood disorder. The foundation reaffirmed its commitment to providing essential healthcare services to Thalassemia patients despite the challenges during the fasting month.
