Women University Mardan marked a significant presence at the 6th International Conference and Annual General Meeting of the Pakistan Network of Quality Assurance in Higher Education (PNQAHE), held from 13–15 April 2026 at Baqai Medical University, Karachi.
The university delegation included the Vice Chancellor, Dr. Razia Sultana, Deputy Director ORIC, Ms. Haleema Ikram, Coordinator QEC, Dr. Monazza Serwar, and Personal Secretary to the Vice Chancellor. A key highlight of the participation was the Vice Chancellor’s role as a distinguished panelist in a high-level discussion on the topic “Catalyzing Global Citizenship: The Strategic Role of Quality Assurance in Internationalizing Higher Education.” The panel explored the evolving role of quality assurance in fostering global engagement, academic mobility, and international collaboration within higher education institutions.
The conference provided an interactive platform for sharing best practices, policy insights, and innovative approaches to strengthening quality assurance frameworks across universities. Participants engaged in meaningful discussions with national and international experts, enhancing institutional perspectives on quality enhancement and global competitiveness.
Another notable moment of the event was the launching ceremony of micro-credentials in higher education, reflecting a progressive shift towards flexible, skill-based learning pathways aligned with global trends.
