SWAT: Provincial Assembly Member Mian Sharafat Ali has said that the construction of a stadium in Kalam will help revive tourism at the international level and accelerate development in the area.
Speaking in an exclusive interview with the media, he said that development projects worth more than Rs200 billion had been carried out in the constituency, while further schemes were in progress. He added that 1,500 registrations of the Youth Force had been completed.
He termed the region a “paradise valley” and said tourism restoration efforts were continuing. He stressed that along with education, awareness among youth was equally important, adding that political workers were showing strong commitment and awareness.
Mian Sharafat Ali said several major projects, including hydropower schemes, had been completed in PK-3, while work on others was progressing rapidly. He noted that PK-3 was larger than many constituencies in terms of population and area, therefore development work was being expedited to provide maximum facilities to the people.
He said the youth were a valuable asset of the country and their education and awareness would ensure a bright future. He added that public service remained his top priority.
