Nimra Rehman advanced to the final after two commanding victories, including a win over Australia’s top-ranked player and the tournament’s second seed. She then secured another straight-games victory in the semifinal to book her place in the title clash.
Ahmed Safwan also impressed with his brilliant run to the semifinal. He defeated the tournament’s third seed in a thrilling 3-2 contest, showcasing great determination and skill.
