ISLAMABAD: U.S. Consul General in Peshawar, Thomas Eckert, along with Political/Economic Chief Kapil Gupta, recently met with Pashtun tribal leaders and officials in Islamabad.
During the meeting, both sides discussed regional stability, shared history, strengthening bilateral relations, and exploring new avenues for business cooperation. They underscored the importance of sustained engagement and collaboration for mutual benefit.
The interaction reflects continued efforts to maintain close connections with community leaders from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The U.S. delegation appreciated the valuable insights and support of tribal elders in promoting peace, development, and stronger ties between the United States and Pakistan.
