PESHAWAR: Provincial Secretary of Pakistan Writers Guild Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Professor Aseer Mangal said that the doors of the Guild are always open for all respected writers and literary personalities. He expressed these views while addressing the launch ceremony of renowned poetess Sakina Rawish Takkar’s poetry collection “Mohabbat Dil Ki Dharkan Hai,” organized under the auspices of the Guild.

The ceremony was held at the conference hall of Pakistan Academy of Letters under the chairmanship of the Guild’s Central Interim General Secretary Bushra Farrukh. Honorary Director of Pakistan Academy of Letters Peshawar, Dr. Gulzar Jalal Yousafzai, attended as the chief guest, while Dr. Jehanzeb Shaoor participated as guest of honor. The proceedings were conducted by Malik Arshad Hussain.

Besides the distinguished literary personalities mentioned above, Dr. Khadim Ibrahim Khadim and Dr. Raj Muhammad Afridi highly appreciated the poetry of Sakina Rawish and described the book as a valuable addition to Urdu literature.

On this occasion, Professor Aseer Mangal warmly congratulated Sakina Rawish on the publication of her first book and extended his best wishes for her literary journey.

Chairperson Bushra Farrukh also congratulated Sakina Rawish and said that she is a poetess with a beautiful style and expression, adding that her literary effort is highly commendable. She further emphasized that literary activities under the platform of Pakistan Writers Guild would be accelerated further in the future.

At the end of the ceremony, Sakina Rawish thanked all the participants and expressed her determination to continue her literary journey with dedication and passion.

Among others who attended the ceremony were senior journalist and poet Mushtaq Shabab, Dr. Aslam Taseer Afridi, Aamir Aziz Khalji, Dr. Tariq Mahmood Danish, Samina Qadir and several other literary personalities.
