Bajaur: In recognition of the sacrifices and relentless services of police personnel working under difficult and high-pressure conditions to protect the lives and property of the public, Bajaur Police has taken an important welfare initiative by distributing financial assistance and scholarship cheques among deserving officers and personnel under the Police Welfare Program.
During a ceremony organized by Bajaur Police, Naveed Iqbal distributed various financial assistance and scholarship cheques to deserving police officials and their families. The purpose of the event was to support personnel facing financial hardships, educational expenses of their children, and other domestic challenges.
Speaking on the occasion, Naveed Iqbal said that police personnel are performing their duties day and night for the protection of the public, therefore the department considers the welfare of its officers and their families among its top priorities. He stated that the welfare program is not limited to financial support only, but also aims to encourage police personnel, acknowledge their sacrifices, and provide them with better facilities.
He further said that a satisfied and motivated police force can play a more effective role in eliminating crime and maintaining peace and order. He reiterated that the department would continue such welfare initiatives in the future so that police personnel can perform their duties with greater dedication, confidence, and professional commitment.
On the occasion, police personnel appreciated the welfare measures and termed them a positive step, saying that such programs not only boost the morale of the force but also assure officers that the department stands by them in difficult times.
