PESHAWAR: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Economic Zones Development and Management Company (KP EZDMC) Chief Executive Officer Shaheer Yar Gul visited the Hayatabad Industrial Estate and held a meeting at the office of the Hayatabad Industrialists Association, where industrialists highlighted various issues being faced by the business community.
Association President Faisal Kakakhel, along with a delegation of industrialists, presented in detail problems related to law and order, security, poor sanitation, drainage, lack of street lights, speedy transfer and bifurcation of industrial plots, taxation matters and shortage of facilities in the industrial estate.
During the meeting, members of the association also shared their individual concerns and suggestions regarding the improvement of industrial infrastructure and services. CEO Shaheer Yar Gul listened to the issues carefully and assured the participants that all genuine problems would be addressed on a priority basis through practical measures.
He said that industrial development and provision of facilities to investors remain top priorities of the government, adding that KP EZDMC would fully cooperate with relevant departments to resolve the issues of Hayatabad Industrial Estate.
Shaheer Yar Gul also requested the Hayatabad Industrialists Association to submit their issues and recommendations in writing to ensure timely and effective action.
The meeting was attended by association members including Muhammad Ishaq, Malik Sajjad, Mohsin Wadood, Atta-ur-Rehman, Tahir Khan, Faizan, Jarjis Siddiqui and Wali-ur-Rehman, while officers of KP EZDMC were also present on the occasion.
