PESHAWAR: A grand rally held under the leadership of former provincial president of Pakistan Peoples Party Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Syed Zahir Ali Shah, in connection with “Marka-e-Haq” attracted significant attention from political and public circles.
The rally started from Haji Camp and passed through various routes of the city before culminating at the residence of Malik Amjad Awan, where a large public gathering was held. Thousands of party workers and citizens participated in the rally, expressing strong solidarity with Pakistan Peoples Party and the Armed Forces of Pakistan.
The gathering was addressed by former city president Zulfiqar Afghani, Gohar Inqalabi, Malik Tamas Khan, Malik Amjad Awan, Shah Rukh Duranpur, and other leaders. The speakers described the rally as a reflection of national unity, patriotism, and confidence in democratic forces.
On the occasion, Syed Zahir Ali Shah stated that the security, stability, and defense of Pakistan have been made unassailable due to the sacrifices of the Armed Forces of Pakistan and the martyrs, which the nation always holds in high regard.
He said that Pakistan has faced internal and external challenges in the past, but through national unity, strong defense strategy, and public support, the country has successfully overcome every crisis.
Referring to Zulfikar Ali Bhutto’s historic words, “We will eat grass but make the defense of Pakistan strong,” he said that today Pakistan’s defense is in strong and secure hands, and the entire nation stands shoulder to shoulder with its brave armed forces.
The speakers reaffirmed their commitment to continue efforts for public service, democratic values, national unity, and the stability of the country.
During the rally, participants raised slogans in support of Pakistan Peoples Party and the Pakistan Armed Forces, while a musical night and spectacular fireworks further energized the atmosphere.
