PESHAWAR: The Health Committee of Peshawar Press Club organized a special free eye camp for its members in collaboration with Khyber Eye Foundation.
According to details, more than 250 members of the Press Club and their family members underwent free eye examinations. Expert doctors also provided consultation on various eye diseases, while participants were given free medicines and spectacles.
The camp was visited by Peshawar Press Club President M. Riaz, Vice President Ziaul Haq, General Secretary Alamgir Khan, Joint Secretary Gulzar Khan, Finance Secretary Irshad Ali and other members of the governing body.
Health Committee Chairman Nasir Hussain briefed the visiting officials about the facilities provided at the camp. Health Committee members Shahzad Ahmed, Iqbal Haider, Nawab Sher and Sheeba Haider were also present.
Later, certificates and shields were distributed among the Khyber Eye Foundation team, including Camp Incharge Javed Mahmood Khan, Dr. Rizwan, Dr. Maryam, Vision Technician Rizwan Javed and other staff members.

Speaking on the occasion, Press Club President M. Riaz thanked the Khyber Eye Foundation team for their cooperation and reiterated that welfare activities for members would continue in the future.
Health Committee Chairman Nasir Hussain appreciated the large participation and said that selfless service to the journalist community would remain a top priority, adding that such initiatives would be continued to ensure better healthcare facilities for members.
