KOHAT: Chairman of the Board of Directors and Acting Chief Executive Officer of WSSC Kohat, Muhammad Saad, has canceled all staff leaves on the occasion of Eid-ul-Azha to ensure uninterrupted municipal services across the city.

According to details, the entire WSSC Kohat staff will remain on duty during Eid to ensure timely disposal of animal waste and uninterrupted supply of clean drinking water to citizens.

Muhammad Saad said that around 378 sanitation workers and nearly 90 small and large vehicles will take part in a special Eid-ul-Azha cleanliness operation. For effective waste management, 253 collection points and 22 major transfer stations have been established within the jurisdiction, from where waste will be transported to the dumping site during the three days of Eid.

He added that preparations at the dumping ground, including excavation for safe waste disposal, have already been initiated.

The WSSC Kohat complaint center will remain operational throughout Eid-ul-Azha holidays, while citizens of urban areas can register complaints by calling helpline 1334 for immediate redressal.
