PESHAWAR: Advisor to the Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on Agriculture, Mian Umar Kakakhel, formally assumed charge of his office and pledged to work diligently for the development of the agriculture sector in the province.

Speaking on the occasion, Umar Kakakhel expressed gratitude to Imran Khan and Chief Minister Muhammad Sohail Afridi for entrusting him with the important responsibility.

He said that the assignment is a trust of the party leadership and workers, which he would strive to fulfill with dedication, honesty, and commitment. He reiterated his resolve to work for the welfare of farmers and the progress of the agriculture sector across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

The Advisor further stated that the doors of his office would remain open to officers and officials of the Agriculture Department, emphasizing the importance of teamwork and coordination in achieving departmental goals.

He assured that effective and prompt action would be taken on all genuine complaints and issues, adding that transparency, accountability, and service delivery would remain his top priorities.

Umar Kakakhel reaffirmed his commitment to strengthening the agriculture sector and addressing the challenges faced by farmers to ensure sustainable agricultural growth in the province.
