PROVINCE REPORT
PESHAWAR: The Centre for Public Policy Research (CPPR), Institute of Management Sciences (IMSciences Peshawar), hosted participants of the 46th Mid-Career Management Course (MCMC) from the National Institute of Public Administration (NIPA) during an engaging industry visit aimed at strengthening academia–policy linkages.
The delegation included officers and representatives from key public sector institutions, including the Ministry of Finance, Cabinet Division, Federal Education, Police Services, BISP, HRM Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and other government departments.
During the session, Prof. Dr. Usman Ghani provided an overview of IMSciences, highlighting its academic vision, institutional growth, and key milestones. Prof. Dr. Zafar Zaheer presented the ongoing initiatives of CPPR, including its research work, policy engagement activities, institutional partnerships, and impact-driven contributions to the public policy landscape.
He also outlined prospects for future collaboration between CPPR, NIPA, and other government institutions to promote evidence-based policymaking.
Participants emphasized the importance of strong collaboration between academia and policymakers for improved governance and effective public service delivery. The efforts of CPPR IMSciences were widely appreciated, with a commitment to further strengthen cooperation in the future.
