Pakistan Television (PTV) Peshawar Centre successfully aired its special program “Flavours of Traditions”, highlighting the traditional cuisine and unique flavors of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The program received wide appreciation from viewers for its rich portrayal of the province’s culinary heritage.
The special production showcased a variety of traditional dishes from different regions of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, reflecting the province’s cultural diversity and distinctive food traditions.
The program was produced under the supervision of General Manager Ibrahim Kamal. Camera operations were handled by Syed Kabir Ali Shah, while Syed Rahat Ali Shah served as Director of Photography (DOP). Editing, mixing, and outdoor recording were carried out under the supervision of IT Manager Ahmed Ali.
Roheel Tahir served as Program Coordinator, while the linking script was skillfully written by Asma Khatoon. The program was hosted by Maria Khan Shinwari, a native of Landi Kotal, who made her debut appearance on PTV screens through this production.
The program was directed and presented by Faisal Khalil. “Flavours of Traditions” was broadcast during the Eid-ul-Adha holidays on PTV Home and PTV National, where it was warmly received by audiences for promoting the authentic culinary traditions of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
