In a warm gesture reflecting the strengthening people-to-people ties between Pakistan and the United Kingdom, Sardar Waqar Shahzad met with Her Excellency Jane Marriott CMG OBE, the British High Commissioner to Pakistan.
During the meeting, Sardar Waqar Shahzad extended a cordial invitation to the British High Commissioner to visit the picturesque Swat Valley and experience its breathtaking landscapes, rich cultural heritage, and renowned hospitality at the historic Australian Residence.
Her Excellency Jane Marriott graciously accepted the invitation, expressing her appreciation and welcoming the opportunity to visit one of Pakistan’s most scenic and culturally significant regions.
Speaking on the occasion, Sardar Waqar Shahzad said, “Swat is not just a valley of majestic mountains; it is a message of peace, resilience, and hospitality.”
