PESHAWAR: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Minister for Communications and Works, Shakeel Ahmad, has stated that the Timergara Panjkora Bridge Bypass Kondaro Road Project in Lower Dir is a project of great public importance. He said that all aspects of the project will be carefully reviewed to ensure its timely completion, and that construction will be carried out in a feasible manner in accordance with public needs and expectations. He added that the project will help reduce traffic congestion and provide improved travel facilities to the local population.
He expressed these views while chairing a meeting held on Wednesday in Peshawar regarding the Panjkora Bridge Timergara Bypass Road Project, organized by the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Highways Authority. The meeting was attended by Chief Engineer North Asad Khan, XEN Nizam Khan, and other relevant officials.
During the meeting, the Chief Engineer North briefed the provincial minister on the legal complications and technical issues hindering the completion of the project. A detailed review was also conducted of all matters related to the required land acquisition and other associated aspects.
Speaking on the occasion, the provincial minister said that the Timergara Panjkora Bridge Bypass Road Project is estimated to cost Rs. 621 million. He emphasized that all possible measures will be taken to ensure its timely completion in line with public expectations. He further stated that the project will prove to be an excellent initiative for public welfare and regional development.
