PESHAWAR : The Peshawar Development Authority (PDA) has promoted 47 employees from various cadres in a move aimed at recognizing outstanding performance and strengthening institutional efficiency.
Promotion letters were distributed during a ceremony held at the office of the Director General PDA. Director General PDA, Captain (Retd.) Mohammad Zubair Niazi, and Director Administration Wagma Gul handed over the promotion orders to the successful employees.
The promoted officials included Junior Computer Operators, Junior Clerks and employees from several other cadres. Among those elevated to the post of Junior Computer Operator were Shahzad Ajmal and Walayat Khan, along with five other officials. Mohammad Ikram was among the employees promoted as Junior Clerk, while numerous employees from different sections of the authority also received promotions.
Speaking on the occasion, DG PDA Captain (Retd.) Mohammad Zubair Niazi said employee welfare, prompt resolution of staff issues and provision of better facilities remained among the authority’s top priorities. He said the promotions reflected the administration’s commitment to rewarding hard work, dedication and professional excellence.
Director Administration Wagma Gul congratulated the promoted employees and expressed confidence that they would continue to perform their duties with sincerity and professionalism, contributing effectively to the authority’s development objectives.
The ceremony concluded with the promoted employees thanking the PDA administration for acknowledging their services and pledging to discharge their responsibilities with renewed commitment, enthusiasm and a stronger sense of public service.
