NEWYORK: In his recent address at a fundraising event held in honor of Bruce Blakeman, Safdar Humayun Qureshi announced his full support for the Nassau County Executive, describing him as the Republican Party’s strongest candidate for Governor of New York.
Qureshi stated that over the past six years, Bruce Blakeman has played a key role in making Nassau County one of the safest counties in the United States. Under his leadership, crime has declined significantly, public safety has improved, and residents have enjoyed a secure and peaceful environment.
He further said that today a large number of Republican, Democratic, and independent voters across Nassau County and New York State have confidence in Bruce Blakeman’s leadership. People believe that just as he transformed Nassau County into a safe and well-managed county, he has the vision and ability to make New York State safer, more prosperous, and more developed, with lower crime, affordable housing, and a better quality of life for all residents.
Safdar Humayun Qureshi added that members of the South Asian community, along with citizens from diverse political backgrounds, view Bruce Blakeman’s leadership with great hope. He expressed confidence that, God willing, Bruce Blakeman will be elected the next Governor of New York and will succeed in making the state more secure, stable, and prosperous.
He also announced that he would fully support the Republican Party’s candidates and would make every possible effort to help ensure their success in the upcoming elections.
The event was attended by Chaudhry Akram, Shehryar Ali, and several distinguished members of the Nassau County administration and local community leaders, all of whom expressed their confidence in Bruce Blakeman’s leadership.
