PROVINCE REPORT
PESHAWAR: PTI leader and Chairman of Moazzam Law Associates Moazzam Butt, accompanied by Father Shahid Younis, urged the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government to return the administrative control of Edwardes College to the Church, saying the move would help restore the institution’s academic excellence and reputation.
Addressing a press conference at the Peshawar Press Club, Butt said the ongoing legal dispute over the college’s administration has affected its academic standards, financial stability and admissions. He called on Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur and Governor Faisal Karim Kundi to resolve the issue and appealed to the Higher Education Commission (HEC) to support efforts to restore the college’s prestige.
