PESHAWAR: Inspector General Frontier Corps KP North Major General Rao Imran Sartaj visited the Police Complex Lower Dir, where he was received by DIG Malakand Syed Fida Hassan Shah and DPO Lower Dir Syed Talal Ahmad Shah.
A smartly turned-out police contingent presented him a guard of honour. The IG FC paid homage to the martyrs at the Martyrs’ Memorial, laid a floral wreath and offered prayers for the elevation of their ranks, national security and peace.
Rao Imran Sartaj also interacted with police personnel and appreciated their courage, morale and professional commitment. He said police and security forces were playing a key role in protecting the lives and property of citizens and combating terrorism.
He said the sacrifices of police and security personnel for the country’s security and peace were highly commendable and deserved the nation’s respect and tribute.
