ISLAMABAD: As per Honourable Speaker National Assembly Sardar Ayaz Sadiq’s vision for employees’ welfare, National Assembly Secretariat has undertaken a significant initiative for the welfare of employees of the National Assembly Secretariat by signing of a Memorandum of Understanding with Allied Bank for an easy-term loan scheme within the Parliament House. As per this initiative, Allied Bank will now offer easy-term loan facilities to employees of the National Assembly and Senate Secretariat. Through the Allied Bank branch located in the Parliament House, employees will be able to access loans on easy terms for the construction, purchase, or renovation of houses, as well as for the purchase of vehicles. Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq remarked that this loan scheme will help low-income employees fulfill their dream of owning or building a home. Furthermore, this scheme will benefit those employees of the National Assembly and Senate who hold accounts with the Allied Bank branch situated in the Parliament House. Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq appreciated the efforts of the Secretary General of the National Assembly, the Additional Secretary, the Advisor on Legislation, and other officers who supervised this important initiative.
