ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan Association of Exhibition Industry (PAEI) and Chinese company Hainan CISAS Human Resources Co., Ltd. have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to promote bilateral trade, investment, business cooperation and economic relations between Pakistan and China.
A Chinese delegation led by Dr. Rizwan Ali, CEO of Hainan CISAS Human Resources Co., Ltd., visited the PAEI office and met Founder Chairman Khurshid Barlas. The meeting was also attended by Xu Dong Hai, Wang Fang, Chaudhry Javed Sabir and PAEI Executive Member Tauseef Zaman.
Khurshid Barlas said both sides would organize direct B2B meetings with business delegations to explore new opportunities for trade, investment and business cooperation.
Under the MoU, the two organizations will facilitate participation in exhibitions, B2B conferences and other business events while promoting greater interaction between the business communities of both countries.
The two sides agreed to organize a Made-in-Pakistan Exhibition in China, with the Chinese side assuring full cooperation. A Made-in-China Exhibition will also be organized in Pakistan with the cooperation of both organizations.
Dr. Rizwan Ali said joint exhibitions would provide businesses with opportunities to showcase their products, enter new markets and promote bilateral trade and investment.
The meeting concluded with Khurshid Barlas presenting a commemorative shield to the visiting Chinese delegation.
