DERA ISMAIL KHAN: Pakistan Markazi Muslim League Dera organised a protest rally from GPO Chowk to Topanwala Chowk against what the organisers described as Houthi attacks targeting Haramain Sharifain.

The rally was attended by representatives of Markazi Jamiat Ahle Hadith, Ittehad-ul-Aimma Wal Khutaba, Fisheries Union and local traders. Participants carried banners and placards during the demonstration.

Addressing the rally, President Pakistan Markazi Muslim League Dera Chaudhry Qamar Muhammad Ramzan said Muslims had a deep spiritual attachment to Makkah Mukarramah and Madina Tayyaba, which he described as centres of spiritual significance for the Muslim world.

He said the participants stood with Pakistan’s armed forces, Türkiye and Saudi Arabia in support of the security of the Haramain Sharifain.

General Secretary Pakistan Markazi Muslim League Dera Division Maqsood Hussain Sandhu said the protection of the holy sites was a matter of deep religious significance for the participants and reiterated their commitment to supporting their security.

The rally was also addressed by Amir Markazi Jamiat Ahle Hadith Dera Ismail Khan Raja Akhtar Muhammadi, General Secretary Ittehad-ul-Aimma Wal Khutaba Maulana Ismatullah, Amir Ittehad-ul-Aimma Wal Khutaba Muhammad Falak Sher Siddiqui, Fisheries Union President Gul Khan, trader leader Haji Khalid Naz, General Secretary Pakistan Markazi Muslim League South Waziristan Mufti Qari Muhammad Yaseen Wazir and Vice President Pakistan Markazi Muslim League Dera Sohail Imran Mangat.

The demonstration concluded at Topanwala Chowk following speeches by the participating leaders.
