After imposition of Governor Rule and Emergency in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa by federal government, security of Dera Ismail Khan has been put on high alert. Extraordinary measures have been taken regarding security, police have also established bunkers on various highways to keep law and order under control, while citizens of Dera Ismail Khan expressed mixed reaction to imposition of Governor Rule and Emergency.In Dera city and suburban areas people also distributed sweets and congratulated each other. Circles of Peoples Party and PML-N while welcoming these steps of federal government have said that law and order situation in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has become extremely precarious, corruption is at peak in departments, Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Faisal Karim Kundi is a shrewd politician, who always keeps a close eye on situation, certainly under leadership of Faisal Karim Kundi law and order situation in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa will improve extremely, corruption in departments will end, he will establish atmosphere of peace in province in consultation with law enforcement agencies.
Circles of Dera Ismail Khan while welcoming imposition of Governor Rule and Emergency under leadership of Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Faisal Karim Kundi have assured Faisal Karim Kundi of their every possible cooperation, till last reports complete silence was observed by PTI circles and no formal reaction could come to fore.
