Habib Metro Bank provided financial support for the championship, while Alkhidmat and Bahria Town Karachi also contributed to the event’s successful organisation.

The Pakistan Cycling Federation president announced that plans were underway to host the South Asian Road Cycling Championship at Bahria Town Karachi next year, subject to consultations with and approval from the relevant international bodies.

The federation also expressed concern over the lack of financial assistance from the Pakistan Sports Board and called on public and private sector organisations to support the promotion and development of cycling in Pakistan.
