DI KHAN: Regional Police Officer (RPO) Dera, Syed Ashfaq Anwar on Friday visited Mufti Mehmood Hospital and inquired after the health of SDPO, who got seriously injured in a terrorist attack in South Waziristan Lower, the previous day.

During the visit, the RPO was briefed by hospital doctors regarding the medical treatment being provided to the injured police officer. He directed the staff to ensure the provision of best possible care, stating that all available medical facilities and resources should be utilized.

It is worth mentioning here that SDPO Birmil Circle Rakhmeen Khan was injured in a terrorist attack in Toi Khullah area, South Waziristan on Thursday.

RPO Ashfaq Anwar condemned the attack, declaring that such cowardly acts by terrorist elements cannot shake the resolve of the police force. “Our morale is unshaken, and the department stands proud of its brave officers who face terrorism head-on and continue to safeguard peace with unwavering courage,” he said.
He also met with the family of the injured officer and assured them of the department’s full support. He pledged that those responsible for the attack would be brought to justice and reiterated the police force’s commitment to standing by its personnel in every possible way.
