PESHAWAR: President of PPP Peshawar Division, Misbahuddin, paid rich tribute on the second death anniversary of the former provincial minister and former President of PPP Peshawar Division, the late Liaquat Shabab. He said that Liaquat Shabab was a moderate and visionary leader who upheld democratic traditions and values in politics. His services for democracy and for his constituency will be written in golden letters in history.
He said the late Liaquat Shabab maintained a relationship of trust and steadfastness with the party leadership over three generations. The late Makhdoom Amin Fahim will always live in the hearts of the party leadership and workers. Misbahuddin said the services of Makhdoom Amin Fahim for the party are unforgettable. He stood by the party during the most difficult times, especially during struggles against dictatorial regimes.
He added that Liaquat Shabab was a symbol of determination and courage. He stood shoulder to shoulder with Shaheed Bhutto and Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto. Liaquat Shabab played a key role in advancing the PPP’s vision of a progressive, inclusive, and democratic Pakistan.
